In 2014 Mike transitioned to his new position as full-time CEO of the Trustees of\u00a0the Funds. He continues to serve as an officer of the Diocesan Missionary Society, the lending\u00a0organization of the Diocese of Virginia. Mike served on a number of Church Pension Group projects,\u00a0including the development of the Church-wide payroll system and served as a director of both the\u00a0Church Insurance Companies and Church Insurance Agency Corporation from 2002 to 2012. Since 2001,\u00a0he has served as faculty for the CREDO Institute. He is currently Chair of the Episcopal Church\u00a0Investment Committee. He currently serves as Treasurer for both The New Community School\u00a0(Richmond) and the Rotary Club of Innsbrook. Mike and his family attend St. Mary\u2019s, Goochland. Mike\u00a0received a bachelor\u2019s degree from the University of the South, an M.B.A. from the University of\u00a0Richmond and is completing a certified financial planner designation through Boston University.<strong><\/p>\n<\/div><p><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<div class=\"one_third tt-column\"><\/div><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<div class=\"one_third_last tt-column\"><p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<div class=\"one_third tt-column\"><div class=\"none_img_frame none_three_col_square\"><div class=\"img-preload\"><img src='http:\/\/dev.trusteesofthefunds.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/\/Laura-Hicks-min-275x275.jpg' alt='' class=\"attachment-fadeIn\" \/><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Laura H. Hicks<\/strong> <em>Secretary-Treasurer<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Laura served on the staff of the Diocese of Virginia for 13 years primarily within the Finance Office\u00a0working with planned giving, development, capital campaign tracking, database management and fund\u00a0accounting for the diocese, Shrine Mont and the Trustees of the Funds. In 2015, Laura was appointed\u00a0Secretary-Treasurer for the Trustees of the Funds.\u00a0 Laura and her husband attend St. Mark\u2019s, Richmond,\u00a0where she has served on Vestry, as Treasurer and also as Chair of a search committee. Laura has dual\u00a0degrees in Accounting and in Management from Texas A&amp;amp;M University and was licensed as a CPA for a\u00a0number of years. She is a graduate of the Education for Ministry (EFM) program through the University\u00a0of the South.
